  1. Huts are so much fun. We have one in our lounge and are just leaving it there as Belinda and Lizzie like working in it. Someone has been busy at your place trimming that big tree it looks great. Did you put anything in our hut Amber?

  2. Wow Amber, I bet lots of kids would be wishing they had all of these supplies in their backyard to make a hut. i know how popular they are at school, especially when there aren't quite enough supplies for everyone building their huts. Huts are so much fun. How long did it take you to build your hut?

  3. Kia ora Amber,
Well done on creating such a fantastic looking hut! I really like the way you utilised materials you already had around the house. Sticks and blankets are some of the most basic supplies you can find, so almost anyone would be able to have a go at making this hut!
Was there any particular procedure you followed when making this hut?
Did anyone help you make this?
Did you decorate the inside of the hut?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
I also noticed that one side of your hut looks as though it is leaning on the fence. Did you use the fence to support your hut, or is this just the angle that the photo was taken at?
I also noticed how there are lots of pieces of wood lying over the ground.
Are these the sticks that you are using for your hut?
If so, how long was each piece?
Did you have to measure them to be exactly the same height to use for your hut?
Keep up the great work Amber!
    Nga mihi
