  1. How cool a chicken house. I am still in the process of making mine. If your seven chickens laid an egg each day for seven days, How many eggs would you have?

  2. Wow Amber, your chickens look very happy! I have chickens too. It's a great way to get rid of your food scraps and even better when you get rewarded with an egg. Eggs from home are so much nicer that bought ones! I am having to buy eggs at the moment, as our chickens are moulting. Have your chickens moulted yet?

  3. Hi Amber. It's pretty exciting having chickens in your very own backyard isn't it. How many eggs are your chickens laying each day? I have four chickens and they all lay one a day each. How long does it take until I get a whole dozen eggs? (I need 12 eggs to make one dozen eggs). What names have you given your chickens?

  4. Kia ora Amber,
It is so exciting to hear how you got chickens!
Chickens are such fluffy, friendly animals who I am sure will very quickly become a part of your family. I have never owned chickens myself, but a friend of mine once had them. She had a large, fenced off section in which the chickens lived, and we always had so much fun going out and feeding the chickens, or picking them up and giving them cuddles.
I noticed that you also have a fenced off area for your chickens to live in. Did you build this specifically for your chickens?
How many chickens did you get?
    Have you given them names?
If so, what are they and how did you decide on the names?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
It has been a few days now since you first posted this, and I was wondering how your chickens are going, and whether or not you are enjoying having them as pets?
    Keep blogging!
